Reality TV Star Lisa Vanderpump Calls Out Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Hypocrisy
By Movieguide® Staff
Bravo TV star Lisa Vanderpump recently took to social media to call out California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s hypocrisy over California’s dining restrictions.
“Hypocrisy at its finest,” Vanderpump began in a since-deleted tweet. “@GavinNewsom All the staff being soooo careful. Last week, you are safe at 9*59pm but 10*00pm …no it’s dangerous. Except at French Laundry.”
Newsom recently attended a party at the French Laundry restaurant during which he dined inside without a mask while sitting next to people outside of his family. The California governor previously stated that doing these things was unsafe and created restrictions from allowing other people to do the same.
Don’t do as I do, do as I say.#lockdown.#restaurants.@GavinNewsom
