STRANGER THINGS Star Reveals Precious Priority
By Movieguide® Contributor
After marrying Jake Bongiovi last year, actress Millie Bobby Brown revealed that having kids is their top priority for their futures and they are both focused on starting a family, no matter what.
“My mom actually had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19,” Brown, who is now 21 years old, told the SmartLess podcast, per E! News. “This has been my thing since before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mom just the way my mom was to me.”
“Jake knows how important it is to me. Of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally,” she continued, adding that her husband was on board, with one requirement. “Jake was like we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing. And my thing was I really want a family. I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future.”
Brown went as far as to clarify that they will have kids no matter what. Even if they end up unable to convenience biological kids, they will raise a family regardless.
“For me, I don’t see having your own child as really any different as adopting,” Brown said. “I feel like anything’s out because my home is full of love for anyone and anything.”
“And so that is kind of what we stand by,” she added. “Jake and I, the energy in our house is the door is always open… That’s kind of where we’re at. We’re always going to be wanting to start a family, it doesn’t matter in what way or when, but it will happen.”

“There’s a bond. I bottle fed all of my babies,” she told iHeart Radio last August. “So all of them know me as ‘mum.’”
“You come from a premiere and you think you’re on top of the world and then you go back home and I’m shoveling donkey poo,” Brown added. “There’s really not much else to it. I mean that is truly what grounds me I’m like ‘Oh yeah they don’t know who I am nor do they care. They just want me to feed them.’”

Millie Bobby Brown says life on her Georgia farm with her husband is where she “thrives.”
“I’m not doing it [farm life] for the aesthetic. I’m doing it because I love it,” the 20-year-old actress told Vanity Fair. “There are maybe some trad wives [a type of homemaker influencer] out there doing it because it seems wholesome, but it is not.”
Brown joked, “If you’re not picking up horse [poop] or washing a cow with your bare hands, then that life is not made for you. At all.”
The STRANGER THINGS star shared that things can get chaotic on the farm, which houses dozens of animals, but there’s no place she’d rather be.
“You think animals are peaceful. You think the South is peaceful. You think this place is peaceful. But there’s so much chaos,” Brown said. “My animals are loud, and it’s messy and my dogs are crazy. And there is, you know, laughter and a lot of passion and excitement, and it is a very vibrant place. There is so much chaos, and that is where I thrive.”
