Tim McGraw ‘Would Love’ to Make Record with Daughters, Wife Faith Hill

Country music star Tim McGraw recently revealed that his list of dream collaborators includes his wife and daughters.
“Personally, I would love to do a family record together,” McGraw shared. “I don’t know that our daughters would go for it. But I could see a couple of the girls eventually doing an album. I think they’re all talented enough to do one. They’re all great singers. But I could see them doing it somewhere along the line.”
McGraw and wife Faith Hill share three daughters — Gracie, 26, Maggie, 25, and Audrey, 21.
“I always tell everyone that I am the worst singer in the family and when you put all four of them together and listen to them sing, I am absolutely the worst singer in the family. And I will carry that banner proudly,” the singer laughed.
McGraw added that Hill is one of the people he trusts to give him input on his music.
“I always run all my music by Faith,” he shared. “We don’t always agree, we’re different artists…when she’s recording, she does the same thing — she runs things by me. Some things I like, some things I don’t. The same with my music…but we’ve learned to respect each other for our process and our artistry and learned to trust one another for what they do.”
McGraw recently spoke about his relationship with Hill and how it has impacted his life and career.
“I guarantee you, had I not gotten married to Faith at 29 years old, A, I probably would’ve ran my career into the ground,” he said during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “And B, I would’ve died already with my career into the ground — one or the other, and it wouldn’t have ever been where it’s at now.”
Hill is equally effusive about the couple’s marriage.
In an interview with Barbara Walters, the country singer said, “I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this person was the one that would have to be my mate for the rest of my life.”

As three-time Grammy winner Tim McGraw reflected on his upcoming 25th anniversary with Faith Hill, he said he’s grateful to God for his wife’s influence on his daughters.
“I just thank God every day that they had their mom as a role model,” McGraw told ET Canada. “My daughters have grown up to be strong, independent, outspoken… they’re really good solid girls and they’re good friends to their friends and they’re good daughters to their parents.”
