Emma is a young ambitious events planner from Los Angeles. Her half-sister, Amy, announces she’ll be getting married in two weeks. Amy asks Emma to travel to England to plan the occasion. Emma is reluctant, but she finds another good reason to plan an event in England. Unknown to her family, Emma invites a high society hotel owner to her sister’s wedding, to win him over as a new client.

Emma is revved up to perform her usual canned wedding event. However, she doesn’t plan on the aide of the Best Man, Dylan, to throw a wrench into her plans. Dylan is a deep, slightly haunted, handsome, and eligible bachelor, with a talent for arts and crafts. He goes head to head with Emma. Dylan insists that a personal, warm touch is the way to make the wedding the perfect occasion for Emma’s sister and his best mate.

The single-minded Emma pushes back at every opportunity. However, as she gets to know Dylan, her family, and the festive small English town, her heart softens. She begins to see the magic in personal relationships.

Can Emma relinquish some control to see the beauty in family, community and authenticity, and impress a potential client at the same time?
