More Detail:

COUPLED UP FOR CHRISTMAS follows Tiffany and Peter, two strangers who meet by chance and cook up a scheme to make their exes jealous and win them back. However, as the two grow closer, they start wondering if their fake relationship isn’t so fake.

In COUPLED UP FOR CHRISTMAS, Tiffany and Peter meet when they accidentally grab each other’s suitcases while getting off a bus. They go their separate ways. Meanwhile, Tiffany gets ready to celebrate Christmas with her family and win back old boyfriend, Brett. Once she gets to the house, her plans come to a screeching halt when she’s introduced to Matilda, Brett’s girlfriend.

Tiffany runs into Peter again at a local bar, both drowning their sorrows. Peter had come to town to get back together with ex-girlfriend, Lorraine, but found out she had already found another man. The pair come up with a plan. Pretend to date each other, making their respective exes jealous and breaking up their relationships, leaving them free to get back together with their exes, Brett and Lorraine.

Tiffany and Peter start spending time together, telling their friends and family they’ve been dating for a while. The pair grow close, sharing their dreams (Tiffany always thought about pursuing an art career) and stories (Peter lost his father at a young age). Things get even messier when Tiffany’s mother mistakenly thinks Peter proposed, and the two go along with the “engagement.”

Peter begins to think about pursuing a real relationship with Tiffany. However, after Tiffany has a conversation with Brett, she’s certain that, if she and Peter end their fake engagement, Brett will break up with Matilda and get back together with her. The pair argue at a surprise engagement party Tiffany’s family threw for them and tell people the engagement is over.

After conversations with her sister, Brett, and Matilda, Tiffany realizes she has feelings for Peter. However, she thinks it’s too late, because Peter left the party with Lorraine. Lorraine did try to rekindle things with Peter, but he tells her it wouldn’t work.

Will Peter and Tiffany find out who they really love?
