Every time his family invites him to visit, he hides behind his work and claims he’s busy. When his parents ask him to attend their 40th anniversary celebration, he employs the same excuse and tells them he’s busy. Trouble arises when his sister discovers his avoidance and informs their parents. His parents show up at his house and not only catch him in his lies but also find out he has kept his daughter and girlfriend a secret from them.
The worst part is that his daughter and girlfriend enjoy being with his family and accuse him of being odd for not reciprocating those feelings. While Malcolm attempts to convince them, his daughter and girlfriend conspire against him.
