Some people may think that Charlie Brown is just a simple little show, but it is so much more. Time after time Charlie Brown delivers a message that is much deeper than expected. Charlie Brown Thanksgiving starts out with Patty inviting herself over to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving. Charlie doesn’t know what to say, but Patty does all the speaking. Patty calls back to say many more want to come. Overwhelmed by Patty’s pushy plans, Charlie tells his friend, Linus that the only things he can make are cold cereal and, maybe, toast. Linus tells him not to worry, that his friends will help Charlie with the Thanksgiving feast.
Meanwhile, Snoopy decides to get a start on the cooking. When everyone arrives, Snoopy gives them something very different than the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Eventually, Linus has to remind everyone how Thanksgiving started and what the holiday really means.
