What You Need To Know:
Satan and his minions are clearly the bad guys in THEY WILL KILL YOU. Also, the two heroines do some redemptive things to protect one another as well as defeat Satan and his minions. However, THEY WILL KILL YOU is filled with extreme unpleasant and gruesome violence, many strong obscenities, absurd action scenes, politically correct content against rich people, and silly moments like the Devil possessing a pig’s head. So, the movie is excessive, unacceptable and too stupid.

Light, but undeveloped Christian, redemptive worldview where woman enters a building run by a satanic cult to save her long-lost sister and a sacrifice solves the plot problem and tricks Satan, but images of occult satanism are strong, and Satan possesses a pig’s head and a woman’s body, and the cult are all rich people, so the movie has a strong politically correct, implied communist, anti-capitalist attitude;
At least 56 obscenities (including 36 “f” words), one profanity using the name of Jesus Christ, one GD profanity, one and OMG profanity;
Lots of extreme, bloody, graphic violence and some strong action violence incudes man decapitated but later comes back to life carrying his head and then gruesomely reattaches it to his neck, same with another man’s foot and another man’s arm, heroine uses shotgun to blast woman’s head off her body (she and the men have all made a pact with the Devil to be immortal in exchange for human sacrifices), multiple bloody stabbings, multiple blood sprays (especially when man has his head chopped off), people are shit and have their throats slit, machete pierces woman’s hand, and she pulls her hand away from it, woman’s eye gruesomely hops around to reattach itself, etc.;
No sex scenes, but one villain claims that another villain sneaks into female victims’ rooms to rape them (young wayward women are invited to the large fancy apartment building to be maids but some become satanic sacrificial victims);
No nudity;
No alcohol use;
No smoking or drugs; and,
Two teenagers have an abusive father.
More Detail:
The movie opens 10 years ago from the present day. Asia Reeves and her younger sister Maria escape their abusive father and shop in a convenience store. However, their father follows them there. They try to run, but he catches up with them, and Asia shoots and wounds him. As the police arrive to take Maria and tend to their father’s wounds, Asia runs away into the night.
Ten years later, Asia arrives at The Vigil, an exclusive, high-rise apartment building in New York City. Ominous carvings appear on the large front door, topped by an image of Satan with horns. Asia poses as a new maid. She’s greeted by the middle-aged building manager, Lilith, and meets a few of the strange occupants.
That night, while sleeping in her maid’s bed, Asia is attacked by four assailants, including a woman. The attackers are surprised to find that Asia is a highly skilled and armed martial arts fighter. Asia gruesomely kills all four attackers, then goes hunting for her sister, Maria, who she believes is somewhere in the building.
Asia is surprised to find all her attackers have been resurrected. One man comes into the hallway holding his head, which then reattaches itself to his body.
Asia learns that the rich denizens of The Vigil are part of a Satanic cult that has made deals with Satan to become immortal by performing human sacrifices. Faced with such a powerful group of demonic evildoers, how can Asia fend off all the cult members while saving her sister?
