More Detail:
“Searching for a Saint Bernard” contains incredibly beautiful shots of the Swiss Alps. That alone makes the episode enjoyable. The show continues to walk an odd line between reality and fiction. This episode especially highlights the jarring logic occasionally present. One example is when Grylls asks viewers to choose how to cross a frozen lake. If they pick wrong, the ice collapses under him, and he nearly drowns. Then he tells viewers why that was the wrong answer. However, if he knew it was the wrong answer all along, why did he do it? There is no questionable content. “Searching for a Saint Bernard” is appropriate for all viewers.
