Country star Darryl Worley is asking everyone for prayer after his 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, got in a car accident on Sunday.

“I’m humbly coming to y’all with an a very serious request!” Worley shared on Instagram. “I’m flying back to Nashville from a show in New Mexico! Kimberly called and said Savannah had been in a bad wreck and was being lifeflighted to Vanderbuilt [sic] Medical Center in Nashville!”

The “Have You Forgotten?” singer shares Savannah with his wife, Kimberly Perkins.

“She has a broken leg, bruises, and lacerations! Please pray for her and pray I can get home to be with my baby girl and Kimberly! Also pray for the lady in the other car! I don’t have any details on the accident but just ask you to pray!! Thank you!”

Worley showed photos of the accident. Both cars’ front ends were destroyed and look totaled.

As Savannah went into surgery the next day, Worley kept his fans updated.

“Savannah is currently in surgery to repair her leg!!” he said. “Kimberly and l are anxiously waiting to hear how things are going from the doctor! It should be another couple of hours before I have an update after surgery!”

“Thank you so much for all the love and support!” he continued. “It means more than you will ever know! Please continue to pray for our baby girl!”

After four hours, Worley said, “Update! Savannah is out of surgery and doing well! She’s resting now! The doctor said everything went well!”

On Tuesday, he posted a photo of Savannah smiling in her hospital bed.

He shared, “It may be raining today but my sunshine is awake with a little smile on her face!! It’s been a rough few days but we know God is in control and shielded Savannah in all of this!! Not sure when she will get to go home but today looks a lot better than yesterday or the day before!! #mygirl #mybaby #sweetlucy #savannah #praiseJesus”

Savannah’s wreck is the second in the family’s to happen this year. In August, Worley and Perkins had a side-by-side car crash, and Perkins suffered a broken arm.

In January, the family experienced another accident when their barn caught on fire. While their animals escaped, they lost property and dear “memories.”

“It’s just sad. We had a lot of stuff in there. A lot of memories, and…it’s all falling in now,” Worley said.
