SHARK TANK’s 17th season will feature some exciting new guest judges, from leaders in the business world to some familiar faces from HGTV.
“The Sharks — tough, self-made, multimillionaire and billionaire tycoons — will continue their search to invest in the best businesses and products that America has to offer, and will once again give people from all walks of life the chance to chase the American dream and potentially secure business deals that could make them millionaires,” a statement from SHARK TANK about the upcoming season shared.
Season 17 will see a series of guest judges joining the show, including founder and chief brand officer of poppi Allison Ellsworth, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and venture capitalist and Atlanta Falcons partner Rashaun Williams.
Kendra Scott, owner and founder of Kendra Scott, and Fawn Weaver, founder and CEO of Uncle Nearest Inc, will appear as guest judges as well.
There will also be a few familiar TV stars joining the judging panel. GOOD MORNING AMERICA anchor Michael Strahan and HGTV stars and Magnolia owners and founders Chip and Joanna Gaines are set to appear in upcoming episodes.
“It’s a lot of fun and I was really surprised,” Strahan said of his time on the show during an episode of GMA. “I was really nervous, but once you get there, they’re amazing. They make you feel great. They really show you the ropes. I had a great time.”

While there are plenty of new judges joining the show, there’s one person many SHARK TANK fans will miss: Mark Cuban, who left the show after 14 seasons last year.
“My kids are teenagers and I want to spend more time with them,” he explained to PEOPLE in 2024 of his decision. “We always shoot in June and September, and in June, right when they’re finishing school, I have to come here. When they were young it was like, ‘Okay, we’re going to wait for Dad.’ Now that they’re teenagers, they aren’t waiting for Dad at all, and in September they’ve just gotten back to school. I want to be there for that.”
Cuban added, “The deals are always out there, but I’ll miss the people and I’ll miss having an impact just from the show itself because we send a message every day that the American dream is alive and well.”
SHARK TANK fans can’t wait to see what this new group of guest judges bring to the table in Season 17!
