Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, will star as a pro-life activist in an upcoming film based on a true story, and she feels confident in her decision, despite hate from the pro-abortion movement. In PARDON ME, White will play pro-life advocate Bevelyn B. Williams.
Williams was sentenced to three years in prison for protesting outside abortion clinics. She was later pardoned by President Donald Trump.
“To be pardoned by the President of the United States is something that I’m still trying to register,” Williams told Fox News Digital. “I don’t think I can fathom in my mind how big this is because I don’t see myself as… the celebrity that people like to call me. I’m just like regular, old Bevelyn.”

White says she felt empowered when playing Williams.
“PARDON ME is definitely something that has shaped my perspective and let me know that I can play a lead role,” White said. “I could tap into another person because it’s a difference when you have a character, but you can make it your own. And I feel like playing somebody might be the hardest in my mind to master, but I feel like I mastered it.”
Despite her mastery, White experienced some pushback for playing such a polarizing figure.
“I have gotten a little bit of backlash from [the role], but it’s nothing I can’t handle,” White said.
“The decision for me to play this role was easy. I knew that it would probably stir up a few things because of the message and what she stands for and that’s exactly why I did it.”
White continued: “I feel as though it’s very empowering to step into these roles because the thing about it is when you are in the entertainment industry, a lot of times they want you to act a certain way or you’re supposed to be a certain type of way for a different type of crowd. But that’s not how it works, that’s not how leadership is. I’ve walked so a lot of people can run in this industry.”
White has become very vocal about her transformation both inside and out since accepting Christ as her Savior. She now uses her platform to encourage other in faith and sobriety, and now represents the fight for life through this movie.
