Christian Artist Dante Bowe has declared he is “done with the celebrity fashion-driven worship.”

While on a men’s retreat last week, Bowe shared on Instagram, “I’m going to give my life to making worship about Jesus again!”

“No more confusing high energy with high praise. It has to look and sound different. Straight vertical. I’m done with the celebrity fashion-driven worship. I only want to look up again,” he added.

In another post, Bowe went further into depth about his time in the woods.

“I just spent 3 days in the woods with my brothers no signal, no noise, just the presence of God. And He showed up. He revealed things in me I needed to face helped me forgive, and begin healing from wounds I’ve carried since I was a kid. I laid a lot down out there,” Bowe said.

“Had a powerful moment with my dad, too. God’s restoring more than just my heart. He’s mending generations,” he continued. “I’m a country boy from Rockingham, NC. I’ve always loved being barefoot, outside, and living simple. But somewhere along the way, I started chasing the shiny stuff, letting people and platforms define me. I’m not doing that anymore. I’m back to my roots. Back to the quiet. Back to the only One who matters.”

He added: “Jesus over everything every time, every season.
I know hell big mad🙌🏽.”

With that, Bowe just released his new album, Welcome Home.

“I didn’t get delivered by a God who said, ‘Look at you.’ I got delivered by a God who said, ‘Come here.’ It was love that met me… not shame. Welcome Home isn’t just an album, it’s my testimony,” Bowe said in a post on social media.

“Honored to walk this out with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tamela Mann, Bonita Jones, Maryanne George, and Enrique Holmes. We’re not just singing, we’re creating space for healing,” he shared. “And look at this beautiful artwork created by @imleonel captured the heart of it all. Produced by my best friend and a real, real brother @baileytheproducer.”

Welcome Home is a 16-track album all about the goodness of God. Bowe hopes people can hear his testimony, but more importantly, hear how good God truly is. Through his time in the woods with like-minded men, Bowe no longer wishes to create music with large-scale productions. Bowe wants to look up and make music that truly worships the King of all Kings.
