Reba McEntire shared why her life is so good right now between multiple shows that she loves being on, to a loving fiance that is making her happier than ever.
“I used to think being content was a no-no, because if you’re content, you’re not going to strive to continue to do better. That’s not true because you always try to improve your health,” McEntire told People. “As I tell artists on THE VOICE, and anybody that ever asks me for advice, I’ll say, ‘Enjoy every minute.’”
“I think I’m happier now than I’ve ever been in my life,” she added. “It’s amazing. It’s wonderful being 70 and getting to do what I get to do at the level I want to do it.”

One of the best parts of her recent projects has been the ability to reconnect with her old REBA co-stars on her new show HAPPY’S PLACE.
“We just pretty much carried over what we did on the REBA TV show,” McEntire told IndieWire. “[Producer] Kevin [Abbott] always made sure that we were laughing, and it was funny and witty and snarky, but always by three-quarters into the show, there was a poignant place that was fit for everybody to relate to. It was the heart. Everybody was choking up and crying, and then there was a singer in there that got everybody back on track, that this is a comedy.”
“It’s a lot of fun and we already know each other’s bad habits and good habits, what we like, what we don’t. So it’s real easy to step in back into that with the crew,” she later added. “You love people you get to work together with that you’ve worked with before. It’s just so much easier than starting over.”
Meanwhile, McEntire also remains rooted in her faith, often sharing about her relationship with the Lord, and how her trust in Jesus keeps her rooted amidst the follies of the entertainment world.
“I don’t know how I would get through the day without my faith,” she said. “It’s there to celebrate with me, and it’s there to help me get back on my feet when something really horrible happens.”
As McEntire continues to be a strong force in the entertainment industry, it is amazing to see just how happy she is. Furthermore, it is amazing how she spreads joy and positivity everywhere she goes, helping everyone she meets feel extremely valued.
