THE BLIND SIDE star Quinton Aaron said he saw Jesus after he suffered a stroke that nearly killed him.
Aaron told TMZ that the stroke was a result of an internal infection that began in his foot and traveled up his body through his bloodstream and into his spine.
The actor said the last thing he remembered was being in an emergency room before he went into a coma for the next four days.
“The day that I woke up from the coma, I later come to realize that I coded a few times that day — so like died — and they had to bring me back,” Aaron told TMZ. “At the time, I didn’t know that’s what happened, but it made sense as I was told that that was what happened because I saw Jesus.”

“I saw the profile of Him. I didn’t see His face straight on, but His skin complexion was a little lighter than mine,” he recalled. “He had long white hair and He was in a white robe. I couldn’t see His feet. I saw, like, this golden glow coming from beneath the robe, and He kind of like floated past me at first, and I was in this kind of state where I felt like everything was spinning.”
“My head was hurting, so I was bent over with my hands in my head, and then He appeared in front of me and placed His hands on my back exactly where the pain was,” Aaron added.
Even now, Aaron can still feel Jesus’ hands on his body.
“Till this day, I can still feel His hands as if they’re there,” he shared. “It was at that moment when I felt His hands touch my back [that] I felt all the pain go away and then after a few seconds I woke up.”
The encounter with Jesus significantly increased his faith.
“I grew up in the church, so I was always a believer, but this made it — increased my faith, I would say, because when I found out that I coded, that made so much sense to me because instead of it feeling like just a vision, it was, ‘No, you died,’” Aaron explained. “And God brought me back. Like, He placed His hands on me and I came back. So, it feels like I was given a second chance.”
Aaron believes that, through his encounter with Jesus and his return to full health, “my work here is not done — I got more to do, so there’s more to the story.”
“I’m getting stronger each and every day,” he added. “I feel like God is driving, so I’m along for the ride, and I’m prepared to go where he’s trying to take me.”
Praise God for how He healed Aaron.
