Christian speaker, influencer and author Annie F. Downs is engaged!
She shared the news on social media on Sunday, sporting a beautiful engagement ring.
She wrote alongside happy photos with her new fiancé:
I’m so happy I get to marry this man.
“All I know is it’s the best thing I’ll do-
to live my life the same time as you.
To share your hand, your bed, and the stars.
To be your friend til death do us part.”

Downs is 45-years-old and has often spoke about the fact that she wants to be, but is not, married.

Actress Carrie Wampler commented on her post, “This is the happiest I’ve EVER been for someone I’ve yet to meet. I was inspired every single time you said “I’m not married yet” on your podcast. And you said it often.”
“I’d always say, okay THAT faith, Lord. I want THAT faith,” she continued. “What a testimony God has written. Annie, you are such a gift to many and I pray your marriage only multiplies your ministry and your anointing! LETS GO🤍”
Down’s fiancé is JW Jaeger, a DJ and drummer. He also shared photos of the engagement on social media.
“One quiet weekend this Spring I got to ask my best friend, my favorite person, the love of my WHOLE actual life — if she would spend the rest of her life with me. And she said YES!” he wrote. “A day started out in nature and ended with friends around the table smiling, laughing, rejoicing and saying — look at how good God is.”
“Annie, thank you for loving me and for going on our journey with me. You light up every single room you step your tiny little feet in. And I’m so proud to be on your arm,” he said.
He also thanked the Lord for keeping his promises.
“I still can’t quite believe I get to say this…WE. ARE. ENGAGED!” he said.
Downs commented, “I can’t wait to marry you, babe. ❤️”
One of Jaeger’s followers commented, “All of Annie’s internet besties have been hoping and praying for her the Lord to bring her YOU! We are all cheering you on and celebrating this delightful news!!!!!! Hoooray!!!!!”
Downs announced her relationship on Feb. 16 in a candid Instagram post.
She began, “I’ve never done this before and I’m not sure how to now…I’ve met a really good man and I want you to know. This relationship hasn’t been a secret- since we met at a Women of Joy event last spring and started dating (he was drumming, I was speaking, Lisa Harper introduced us, he slid in my DMs, tale as old as time), we’ve spent tons of time with friends and met each other’s family.”
She shared why she fell in love with Jaeger — he’s funny, loving and makes her feel good.
“It hasn’t been a perfect 9 months. We’ve worked through lots already and will continue to. He’s dating a human. So am I,” she explained.
“But God has been kind to us as we navigate our humanness and learn each other and care for each other’s wounds- old or new. I never thought I’d do a hard launch or a ‘meet my boyfriend’ post- but mostly I’m so happy dating this man that I can barely keep it to myself,” she said. “Clearly- I can no longer keep it to myself. 😂”
