Save The Storks’ special summer initiative will bring America’s pro-life foundation to the forefront as the country celebrates 250 years.

“The initiative, running throughout the summer months, follows Storky on a nostalgic journey to national parks, baseball games, hometown Fourth of July parades, state fairs, backyard barbecues, family road trips and back-to-school moments,” a press release announced.

Save The Storks wants the initiative to “spark conversations about family life in America while drawing attention to its mission of serving women facing unexpected pregnancies” through short-form videos and other social media content.

“As our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, we at Save the Storks are reminded that the very foundation of this country rests on truths the founders called self-evident,” said Diane Ferraro, Save The Storks CEO. “The Declaration of Independence affirms that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among them life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

She continued, “We believe that when our founders wrote ‘life’ as a right of every American, that includes the life of a preborn child. Save the Storks is grateful for the men and women who acknowledged God as Creator and enshrined the protection of life into the soul of this nation. As a nonprofit serving women across the United States, we hold fast to these founding ideals and pray that America’s next 250 years will be marked by an even deeper commitment to life and to the God who gives it.”

As Storky travels across America, he will help support women to chose life and advocate for resources.

“True liberty means having the freedom to choose life,” the organization’s website emphasized. “Today, many women facing financial stress, abuse, lack of support or fear feel as though abortion is their only option. But we believe women deserve more than fear and survival mode.”

“A truly free America is one where women have the support, resources, and most importantly, the hope they need to envision a brighter future for themselves and their babies,” Save The Storks stressed. “Because being American means choosing hope, even in the face of hardship.”

Abortion and life have made headlines recently following the controversy surrounding YouTuber Jesse Ridgway, aka McJuggernuggets, and his wife Ashley’s decision to abort their baby after a Down syndrome diagnosis.

Stories like this remind us that life is precious and valuable, and initiatives like Save The Storks’ will bring more awareness to the resources available for those struggling to accept a pregnancy for whatever reason.
