A tarot card reader and social media figure has denounced the occult and is now declaring her love for Jesus.

“Over the past nearly year, something has begun to change in me on my journey. I noticed that, as my faith grew, I began to find myself wrestling with questions that I couldn’t quite ignore,” TikToker “Alex Reads Tarot” shared in an Instagram video to fans.

She explained that she experienced a “gradual” shift in her faith, saying, “What started feeling as something that I couldn’t quite explain began to grow into something that I couldn’t quite ignore anymore.”

“I know that some people may find this decision surprising — and some people may wonder how I can be saying this after spending years of doing the work that I’ve done — but all I can do is be honest,” Alex said.

She also announced that this would be her final post on social media — “I’m not going to be creating any more tarot content. And, once this account is gone, I will not be returning.”

“I don’t know exactly what comes next for me, but what I do know is that Jesus Christ has saved my life, and I can no longer ignore that reality,” Alex concluded.

Alex isn’t the only former occultist who has turned to faith. Ex-psychic Jenn Nizza has been open about her journey. In an episode of her “Ex-Psychic Saved” podcast, she said using tarot cards for the first time opened a “demonic door” in her life.

“When you are dealing with demons, at some point or the other, there’s gonna be massive destruction,” she said. “I was demonically oppressed to the nines.”

Nizza would go on to find faith after visiting a church, sharing, “Jesus…showed up. He is real. He is the son of God. He saved my life physically and eternally, and I was filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with joy.”

In an Instagram post, Nizza shared, “Many people are going [to psychics and other tools] because they think it’s entertainment, but I want to argue something. As a former psychic, how sure are we that they don’t believe a little bit? How do we know that, when they go for a reading, it’s not like, ‘Oh, I wonder what they’re going to say or what’s gonna come out for me in the cards or the astrology chart?’”

She continued, “Whether you believe or not and you’re just doing it [or it is] for entertainment, you’re opening a demonic door, which is so heartbreaking. That’s the truth of it. If you’re going to use a tool of divination, you’re going outside of God’s boundaries.”

Alex Reads Tarot’s decision to abandon the occult and turn fully towards Jesus is a reminder of the dangers of engaging with these practices, no matter how harmless they might seem.
