Tomorrow and Friday, an all-female commentator lineup will head up the NFL Network’s GOOD MORNING FOOTBALL program, led by Jamie Erdahl, one of the show’s regular hosts.
“GOOD MORNING FOOTBALL resonates with fans, as evidenced by our Emmy nomination this year, because of our unique and fun way we cover the NFL,” Erdahl said of the show, per Deadline. “These episodes of GMFB will bring that same personality and energy, just with leading female voices who love the game.”
“THIS week on @nflnetwork & #nflplus. Catch a special edition of @gmfb with an all-female cast June 5 & 6,” the NFL announced on Instagram.
Erdahl was among the 2025 NFL Draft reporters.
“Night 1 of the 2025 @NFL Draft in the books! Smiles, tears, hugs galore 🤭 Really sweet group of young men had their lives changed tonight. The crowd in Green Bay put on a CLINIC!” she shared after day one of the draft.
Along with Erdahl, the Thursday broadcast of GOOD MORNING FOOTBALL will feature NFL Network reporter Jane Slater, NFL Network analyst Cynthia Frelund and Cincinnati Bengals beat reporter Kelsey Conway. On Friday, Erdahl and Slater will be joined by New York Giants team reporter Madelyn Burke and college reporter Tamara Brown.
“So honored & excited to be given the opportunity to join this incredible group of women for this. Be sure to check us out on @gmfb on @nflnetwork Thursday and Friday!” Conway wrote on X.
Burke said, “Looking forward to spending Friday morning with friends at the breakfast table!”

The female-led shows will also feature an all-female guest panel including “Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductee Andrea Kremer, NFL ON CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson, Division 1 Flag Football athlete Ki’lolo Westerlund, sports reporter Dawn Mitchell, Grammy-award winner Melissa Etheridge, and Sunday Sports Club podcast host Allison Kuch.”
This comes as GOOD MORNING FOOTBALL undergoes several changes. According to Deadline, Peter Schrager finished his last episode this March after nine years with the show. Akbar Gbajabiamila also moved on after just one season.
So far, only Erdahl and Kyle Brandt, who reports from New York City, are the only two set to return next season.
Be sure to tune in on June 5 and 6 at 8 a.m. ET to watch an all-female cast catch football fans up on everything NFL.
