Candace Cameron Bure Says Sharing Faith is ‘My Mission in Life’

By Movieguide® Staff

Great American Family star Candace Cameron Bure opened up about why sharing her faith is her life’s mission while on the 31st Annual Movieguide® Awards red carpet.

“That is where my heart is at,” she said of her faith. “The most precious thing to me in the world is to share my faith. And whether I’m doing that in conversation or through my films, it’s my mission in life.”

Bure has several faith-focused projects in the works, including UNSUNG HERO, which will be released in theaters on April 26.

“We’re very excited about [it, and] I produced and am in [it] as well. And then all the movies on Great American Family channel. There’s a great new Easter movie coming out this year that I produced. And and obviously, there will be lots of Christmas movies,” she told Movieguide®.

Whether she’s acting, producing or just going about her life, Bure puts her “faith and hope and trust” in God.

“No matter what storms are around, and no matter what chaos is going on in the world and cultural wars and social injustice, I look to God and His word to navigate it,” she shared.

Bure will be in the Movieguide® Awards Broadcast on GAF on March 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
