Reality TV Star Launches Podcast Just for Moms

DUCK DYNASTY star Korie Robertson just launched a new podcast, and she shared why on her father-in-law, Phil Robertson’s, Unashamed podcast.
“I just launched a podcast called ‘LO Mama,’” she began. “It’s kind of under Sadie’s Live Original branding of LO, and so I’ve been thinking about doing podcast for moms because…people ask me about just motherhood and what’s it like, and what’s it like raising kids and what’s it like now that you have adult children and bringing, you know, in-laws into the family and grandkids and all that. So, I decided to do a podcast, and I did it with my friend Beth Redman.”
Korie and husband Willie Robertson share Rebecca Robertson Loflin, John Luke Robertson, Sadie Robertson Huff, Bella Robertson Mayo and Will Robertson Jr.
Though she has years of motherhood under her belt, she wants her listeners to understand that she doesn’t know it all.
“It’s kind of, you know, tricky to come in and do a podcast where you’re talking about being a mom because, obviously, I’m not the perfect mom, and our kids aren’t perfect or anything,” Korie explained. “So, the first episode we just kind of like told all our parenting fails just to be like, ‘All right, look, we’re not coming in here like experts, we’re just coming in here telling you some things that we’ve learned along the way. Some things that maybe have helped our family and hopefully it’ll help yours.'”
Along with opening up about their biggest parenting fails, Korie and Redman have discussed family traditions, talking to their kids about the hard parts of their stories, whether parents can be friends with their adult kids and so much more.
Robertson is grateful for all the children God has put in her life, including her seven grandkids.
“Picking up this room today and thinking about how it has become my favorite room in the house…especially when the grandkids have filled it with imagination and play,” she wrote in the caption. She continued, “I love this quote by Albert Einstein, ‘He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.’ Grateful for the little children in my life who remind me to pause in awe and wonder.”
