Celebrity Evangelist Asks Followers to Pray for HALLOWEEN Director John Carpenter

Last year, “Celebrity Evangelist” Dylan Novak shared the gospel with HALLOWEEN director John Carpenter for the second time.
“I briefly met Mr. Carpenter in 2018 where I gave him a Bible, ‘Gasp!’ by Tony Nolan, and a letter,” Novak said about his first visit with Carpenter.
Both times they met, the outspoken atheist politely received the Gospel materials that Novak gave him. But in 2018, Novak almost didn’t get to give his materials to Carpenter. The director’s manager previewed Novak’s gift bag and informed him that Carpenter would not appreciate the gifts.
“However, Mr. Carpenter had overheard our conversation and said, ‘Let me decide what I want or don’t want,’” Novak shared.
“After he looked through his bag he said, ‘Why would you want to give me this?’” he continued. “I told him it was because I love and care about him and his soul. I let him know that I had read and listened to his interviews about being an atheist, and that is why I brought him material on proving God’s existence.”
“He took another look at the gift and told me, ‘I’ll look at this since it’s specifically for me. Thank you very much,’ Novak said.
In his most recent visit with Carpenter, Novak asked the director if he still believes that God does not exist, and he said yes.
“I told him the reason we came to meet him was to bring facts and evidence about the issue of God so that he had historical and scientific evidence to research,” Novak said. “He thanked us for our care and was receptive of the 3 Lee Strobel books (‘The Case for a Creator,’ ‘The Case for Christ,’ and ‘The Case for Faith’), as well as tracts and a letter.”
Novak asks believers to pray that the horror movie director will accept Christ into his heart.
While the director may still be an atheist, one of his HALLOWEEN actors, David Kyle Foster, went on to get two seminary degrees after he literally let go of his demons. Movieguide® reported:
“I was heavily demonized long before doing the film (HALLOWEEN). Like the demoniac in the Bible, I would rove the Hollywood Hills unclothed early in the morning, darting from bush to bush,” Foster said. “When I’d look in a mirror, demonic eyes looked back at me. But when I met God a year later, the first order of business on God’s agenda was to deliver me from about a dozen demonic presences. It took about a week, but when it was over, I felt light as a feather and freed from the dark oppression that had kept me in bondage.”
…Foster founded Mastering Life Ministries in 1987. He produces and hosts PURE PASSION, a televised outreach designed to equip the church to minister to people trapped in sexual sin and brokenness.
Foster also served “as adjunct professor at Asbury Theological Seminary, The Bible Institute of Hawaii, Logos Christian College & Graduate School and Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry and currently serves on the faculty of the Wagner Leadership Institute.”
