On the 30th Annual Movieguide® Awards red carpet, the Skit Guys reflected on humor, fun and faith in their Movieguide® Award nominated movie FAMILY CAMP.

FAMILY CAMP has been nominated for Movieguide®’s Most Inspirational Independent Film award.

“Making the movie was a gift from God, and this is just the cherry on top,” Tommy Woodard said of their nomination.

“So honored, so blown away. I mean, to make to make a faith-based comedy and to see that recognition. It’s beautiful. It’s humbling. We want to do more,” Eddie James added.

“We love the fact that, if you can get people laughing, they’ll settle down. They’ll have a good time. Then you can usher in the good news, the gospel,” he added. “We love to make people laugh.”

Woodard reflected on their experience transitioning from skits to the big screen.

“It’s the best,” he said. “It’s like we were making all these short films forever and then all the sudden, it’s a big one. And now it’s like, let’s do a lot more of that. It was so fun.”

“We want to make more fun. We think it’s needed,” he added.
