Reba McEntire is “ready to win!” The country legend revealed she’s back in the seat as coach for Season 28 of THE VOICE, and she can’t wait.

“Back in my other Happy Place,” she said in a Facebook post, accompanied by a photo of her sitting in the iconic red spinning chair. “I’ve got my game face on and I’m ready to WIN 🏆 Just wait til y’all hear the incredible voices of Season 28!”

Reba fans are thrilled.

“Alright Reba let’s go time for you to put a win under your belt. We love watching you!!” one person said. Another person added, “So happy you are back. You make the Voice extra special ❤️❤️❤️” One fan cheered her on, saying, “Looking forward to another Team Reba win! 🏆”

McEntire didn’t judge last season but appeared in seasons 24, 25 and 26. Fans speculated that she took a break because her new show, HAPPY’S PLACE, premiered on NBC last fall. Season 27 judges included Michael Bublé, John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini and Adam Levine.

Initially, the country star didn’t want to judge the competition series.

“I was really dreading it at first, because I don’t want to tell anybody they suck,” she told Seth Meyers earlier this year. “I passed on it years ago when it first came over from Holland.”

But when she realized she could be “helpful” rather than harsh to competitors, she seized the opportunity.

“Everybody that’s coming back now — Snoop, Michael, myself and Niall — we’re nice people. We encourage, we lift up,” she said.

McEntire scored big on THE VOICE Season 25 when her singer, Asher HaVon, took the win.

As she told Meyers, she joins Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan and Bublé on the judges’ panel this season.

It doesn’t seem like THE VOICE will end anytime soon. Although a 29th season has not yet been announced publicly, tickets for Blind Audition tapings, which will take place July 21-23, are already available.

“Music fans, rejoice: THE VOICE is returning for Season 29! Four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series THE VOICE returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show’s newest season,” the ticketing website says.

It makes sense that NBC would want to keep THE VOICE going. Last season, it brought in one million more viewers than AMERICAN IDOL, another beloved singing competition show. The Sun revealed that on March 16, AMERICAN IDOL captured 4,510,000 viewers, while THE VOICE boasted 5,237,000 the following day.

An official premiere date hasn’t been announced, but THE VOICE Season 28 will air starting in September on Monday and Tuesday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. This schedule will change in October when the NBA will take the Tuesday night slot.

With both HAPPY’S PLACE and THE VOICE in production this summer, McEntire has her hands full.
