“Hold Me” singer Jamie Grace recently announced she’s going on tour this fall.
In a detailed video last month, Jamie Grace shared that she is an independent artist without a record label. So she’s partnering with a platform called bside to perform in different cities across the nation.
Starting Aug. 7, Jamie Grace’s tour will take her to 11 cities. Fans have to buy tickets for the city they want to attend the concert in, and then bside will book the venue based on demand. Jamie Grace explained that this is one of the best ways to go about touring as an independent artist.
“Save the date, grab a ticket and I will see you on the road!” Jamie Grace told her viewers.
Her tour is called “A Little Different” and will highlight her new album, Dreamers, CCM Magazine reported. Its songs feature electric sounds, pop, acoustic and, of course, the gospel.
Jamie Grace became a Christian music sensation overnight when she released “Hold Me (ft. Toby Mac)” in 2011.

Jamie Grace struggled with Tourette Syndrome in her early teen years. She found that her symptoms disappeared when she played instruments and sang. She found that God and “music gave me a sense of purpose,” she said.
She started to post videos of herself playing the guitar and ukulele on YouTube and started to reach out to Christian artists. She also started a website for teens with Tourette’s.
“My life verse is Psalms 30:5, ‘Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.’ I want to share about God’s joy because when I found it again, it was amazing,” she said.
Jamie Grace also instructs kids in her The New Kids Choir, which records songs with kids aged 10-17. The choirs songs’ are available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and other services.
The New Kids Choir’s website says, “We are passionate about the values of Jesus Christ, the Great Commission and believe that the greatest of all things is God’s love. We sing songs that we believe in and openly talk about the meaning of these songs when we’re together.”
