Jennifer Garner and Mariah Carey Get In The Christmas Spirit

Jennifer Garner is praising Mariah Carey for spreading some holiday spirit at a recent concert.
“Thank you @mariahcarey for spreading all the Christmas cheer,” the actress wrote in an Instagram story of herself at Carey’s “Merry Christmas One and All!” show.
Carey reposted Garner’s story, adding, “Thank you @jennifer.garner for being so festive!!”
Garner recently told Entertainment Tonight about her excitement for the upcoming holiday season.
“I kind of dive into the kitchen over the holidays. I love it,” she shared. “I will bake every single morning. I’ll make something big. I’ll have my whole family together — my sisters, my niece, my nephews, my brothers-in-law, of course my parents, and my kids. I can’t wait for it.
The actress also talked about her latest movie, FAMILY SWITCH.
“I really hope that families watch it all together on the couch. I hope that everybody finds something funny,” Garner said. “We were really intentional about having stuff for little kids, for middle kids, teenagers, grownups all the way. [I hope] that at the end of it they’re kind of surprised to find themselves tearing up. That’s just the formula that would make me happier than anything.”
She elaborated on her hopes for the movie with Access Online, saying, “It lets parents into the minds of teens and kids, and it really get them to understand each other. So, I think every teen should just make their parents sit down and watch it with them.”
The actress added that even her kids enjoyed the movie.
“They were just like, ‘Mom, this is just such a fun film.’ They really liked it,” Garner said. “It did really warm my heart because they have to take themselves out of our relationship dynamic. They have to take me as their mom out of it. That’s a lot to get through to just enjoy a movie. I was so happy to hear how much they loved the film.”

Although balancing a career in Hollywood, taking care of her children, and the work she does for Save the Children is not always easy, Garner said she is thankful for family time.
“I love being home with [my kids], and I’ve been so lucky to have the flexibility to be home a lot,” Garner said. “But I miss the days of going on location and will be excited to just be like, ‘Yeah, you want me in North Carolina? You want me in Budapest? You want me in Paris? Yes! I can do all those things.’ I feel like I’ll zip around a little.”
She added: “I do so many different things. Sometimes I feel like I work inside of a blender. I mean sometimes the lid of the blender flies off and you get a smoothie all over your kitchen. That happens too. It’s not always pretty. But we get it done.”
