Jenny Marrs just gave FIXER TO FABULOUS fans a major Season 6 update!

“Season 6 that’s a wrap,” design coordinator Tanja Heffner posted to her Instagram Story. Marrs reshared the Story and added her own message: “Today was our last day of shooting for Season 6!”

Season 6 is currently airing, and fans of the home renovation show have gotten to see Jenny and her husband Dave work on a home for St. Jude, build homes for families who lost theirs in a series of recent tornadoes and create a “catio.”

“We’re always pushing ourselves and being pushed by the network and the production company to figure out new and better projects that keep viewers coming back,” Dave told TV Insider.

Jenny added, “I actually am trying not to do bigger. I always want to try to do better, but we don’t need to do bigger because they always seem to get harder every year. This year we tried not to have too many giant projects, but we had 12 tornados hit our town in one night. It really impacted so many families across our community…The tornadoes coming through really changed the season for us as far as the scale of projects.”

The couple’s HGTV show is massively popular, but did you know it almost didn’t happen?

During a recent speaking appearance at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas, they shared that they were approached by producers three times about having their own show — and turned them down!

The Marrses eventually said yes, and the rest is history! FIXER TO FABULOUS has filmed over 100 episodes and has even been nominated for an Emmy.

“We didn’t think we’d be doing it this long,” Dave said. “We feel like it’s a ministry. We feel like when we’re not supposed to do the show anymore, God will say ‘I’m closing this door and opening another one.’”
