Jenny Marrs shared the special prayer she has for Marrs on Main, her and husband Dave Marrs’ latest business venture.
“It’s official: @marrsonmainis open!!” she posted on Instagram under photos of the couple cutting a ribbon to declare the store officially open for business.
The HGTV star continued, “My prayer for this place is for it to be a beacon of light for our community and a welcoming place where everyone leaves feeling a little brighter for having been here. May the beauty created by artisans and artists here shine brightly into the world.”
“We poured our hearts into this store and are so excited to share it with you all! Despite the rain, what a beautiful day it was!!” she concluded.
A post on the Marrs on Main’s Instagram page read, “Yesterday’s Grand Opening day was a rainy, gloomy day outside. But, inside? It was all laughter, hugs and happy chatter. It felt like welcoming new friends into our home which is one of my favorite things to do. So, to every person who joined us: thank you! I sure hope you left feeling a bit more joyful and brighter despite the overcast skies!”
In a statement given to Downtown Bentonville, Jenny said, “We love our community and are always looking for opportunities to highlight the incredible local artisans we work with.”
She added that Marrs on Main will feature “handmade pottery, leather goods, art, and home decor,” as well as “one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, handmade light fixtures, and antiques that Dave and I have personally sourced around the world.”
“Much like our Centerton location, our hope for Marrs on Main is that it is a place where the things we sell each tell a story and encourage visitors to seek beauty in all things and in all people,” Jenny concluded.

Downtown Bentonville Inc. Executive Director Dana Schlagenhaft said, “Dave and Jenny have created an incredible brand right here in Bentonville, and it’s so exciting to see them plan their second retail location in our beautiful (and growing) downtown. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to experience Marrs on Main — and while they’re here, they can explore our amazing restaurants, shops, museums, and everything else that makes downtown Bentonville so special.”
In an Instagram video shared by Downtown Bentonville, Dave said, “Everything has gone into this building. And we are so blessed to be here in downtown Bentonville.”
“We hope that all of our community is able to enjoy this space and that you can come in here and feel all of the love that we poured into it,” Jenny added.
Marrs on Main is sure to be another success for the Marrses — and a wonderful addition to Bentonville’s growing downtown.
