Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker Praise God After Emergency Fetal Surgery

KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS star Kourtney Kardashian and husband, Travis Barker, credited God for their unborn son’s successful emergency fetal surgery.
“God is great,” Barker said. “I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”

“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍,” Kardashian said on Wednesday.
On her Instagram story on Thursday, Kardashian posted part of a devotional and highlighted these Bible verses:
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit, apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power – Ephesians 6:10
Kardashian also expressed gratitude toward the hospital staff and sympathy for mothers who have had similar experiences.
She said, “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband, who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery,” she continued. “I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
According to The Independent, the couple left the hospital on September 2, and Kardashian has been recovering since September 4.
