Patrick J. Adams Says a SUITS Reunion Movie ‘is Possible’

It might just be time to suit up again.
Star Patrick J. Adams has teased the possibility of a SUITS reunion movie.
While at the ATX TV Festival, “a fan asked if the cast or creators would ever be interested in a reunion movie.”
Adams, who played the witty and extremely smart Mike Ross, answered, “I am a person of no power or authority, but obviously, there’s a SUITS: LA show that is being made. That is the focus of [creator] Aaron [Korsh], I think he would agree.”
“But it’s definitely something he’s interested in doing, in trying to get the band back together,” the actor continued. “So it depends on a million things if that can happen, but is it possible? I think it is possible.”
When asked if other members of the cast would be interested Adams said, “This band member is down.” Dulé Hill also confirmed his interest in reprising his role as Alex Williams.
While SUITS has found massive success, topping 2023’s streaming charts despite its end in 2019, Adams wasn’t originally sure if he’d be cut out for the job.
He explained that he and his co-star, Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), went for lunch one day after they both secured the roles.
Adams felt pressure because he didn’t think he was as skilled as his counterpart.
“He’d done a ton of work, and he was a movie star in a lot of ways. He’s done a lot of huge films,” Adams said. “And we were coming at it from the Harvey/Mike perspective. I was coming in going, ‘I need to fight for every moment, because I don’t know that I’m going to be able to do this for a living. If this thing doesn’t work out, I don’t know if I have anything.’ It was just sort of desperate hunger. Whereas for Gabriel, he was like, ‘I guess I’ll do this. We’ll see.’ ”
Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulson, and Adams are getting ready to launch their new podcast, “Sidebar: A SUITS Watch Podcast.”
He emphasized the “watch” in the title because “we are watching it for the first time together, and we are recording a podcast that’s documenting that journey. It’s going to be coming out really soon.”
Movieguide® recently reported on the podcast:
Adams and Rafferty will walk viewers through each episode and unpack special behind-the-scenes moments. Other co-stars will join the podcast from time to time.
The two released a statement, saying, “On the heels of the record-breaking SUITS resurgence, it feels like the perfect time to rewatch the show that changed our lives. We are thrilled to collaborate with the incredible team at SiriusXM and look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as the SUITS fans who made it all possible.”
