Prime Video will join ESPN, CBS and Paramount+ to become a fourth partner for the 2026 Masters Golf Tournament.

“It’s an honor for all of us at Amazon to become a broadcast partner of the Masters Tournament and to provide fans additional hours of live coverage of this treasured event,” Jay Marine, Head of Prime Video U.S. and Global Sports, said in a press release. “We are humbled and proud to begin our relationship with Augusta National Golf Club, and we cannot wait to get started.”

The Masters chairman, Fred Ridley, added, “Working alongside Amazon in this capacity is an exciting opportunity for the Masters Tournament and its fans. We are proud of our longstanding partnerships with CBS Sports and ESPN, who have set the highest standard for broadcast coverage of the Masters. The addition of Amazon will only further our abilities to expand and enhance how the Tournament is presented and enjoyed.”

According to a press release from the Masters, there will be “two additional hours of first and second round coverage [which] will be offered both days on Prime Video. The Masters will stream live on Prime Video from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, leading into ESPN’s broadcast coverage on both days from 3:00 – 7:30 p.m. ET.”

Recently, Rory McIlroy became only the sixth player in history to achieve a career Grand Slam, which is when a golfer wins all four major championships: the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and The Open Championship (British Open).

“It’s the best day of my golfing life,” he said after he won the Masters earlier this year. “I’ve literally made my dreams come true.”

Finally putting on the iconic green jacket saw all of his hard work through the years pay off.

“It feels incredible,” he told CBS’ Jim Nantz at the Green Jacket ceremony. “This is my 17th time here, and I started to wonder if it would ever be my time. I think the last 10 years coming here with the burden of the Grand Slam on my shoulders and trying to achieve that, yeah, I’m sort of wondering what we’re all going to talk about going into next year’s Masters.”

“I’d say it was 14 years in the making, from going out with the four-shot lead in 2011 – feeling like I could have got it done there. There was a lot of pent up emotion that just came out on the 18th green. But a moment like that makes all of the years and close calls worth it,” McIlroy added.

Golf fans everywhere won’t want to miss the Masters on Prime Video next spring.
