Beloved Scholastic stories will make their way to your TV screens through the company’s new streaming service, ScholasticTV, launched in partnership with Future Today.

It’s completely “free to stream.”

“Tune in for hours of entertaining and educational content full of big red dogs, spooky stories, and science that zooms – Scholastic TV makes learning feel like play. Trusted by parents, approved by teachers, and loved by kids everywhere,” the ScholasticTV website description reads.

The ScholasticTV app features over “400 hours of programming to start, is available on Roku and Amazon Fire TV as of Wednesday and is slated to roll out on other platforms in the near future,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

Several of Scholastic’s famous books have turned into TV shows, which are available on the app, including CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS, GOOSEBUMP, GARFIELD, BARNEY & FRIENDS and more.

“We’re seeing strong demand for quality nostalgic content, and the Scholastic brand is trusted by families everywhere,” vice president of digital and distribution at 9 Story Elianne Friend said in a press release from Scholastic. “Future Today was the ideal partner to help us bring Scholastic’s beloved stories to new audiences. We’re excited to build on this momentum and continue expanding Scholastic Entertainment’s incredible catalog across global streaming platforms.”

“Scholastic books and programs have been a cornerstone of childhood for generations, bringing characters and lessons that stay with us for life. With this new app, we’re ensuring families everywhere will have access to timeless stories that entertain, educate and inspire – backed by a brand they know and trust,” added David Di Lorenzo, Future Today’s senior vice president of kids and family.

The app is designed for children ages 2-12 and their families to watch family-friendly TV together. Scholastic’s goal with the app is to “reach children everywhere.”

With Scholastic’s partnership with 9 Story Media Group and Future Today, the media company leverages “new synergies to expand access to its deep catalog of iconic children’s series. The Scholastic AVOD (advertising-based video on demand) app builds on successful VOD (video on demand) launches of Scholastic favorites by 9 Story’s digital team across multiple platforms earlier this year.”

ScholasticTV has also already “partnered with global brands like Moonbug, LEGO, Chuck E Cheese and others.”

Scholastic TV is available on YouTube, as well, and includes half-hour to hour-long shows for kids to learn and play. One of those shows is CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, when Clifford goes back to school.

The ScholasticTV app will offer families a great place to watch safe and educational TV.
