Tom Holland has big dreams — he wants to open a completely free school for kids in London.
“I’d like to build a school with the best facilities that any school in London can offer, but is totally free and rivals and private school in the country,” he said, according to Pubity.
According to IBTimes UK, the school will be developed under The Brother’s Trust, which is a charity that Holland’s parents, Nikki and Dominic Holland, founded. The trust was named after their sons, brothers Tom, Sam, Harry and Paddy. The whole Holland family runs the foundation.
Holland would like young people to have high-quality schooling that their families would not be able to afford otherwise.
“Using Tom’s reach and popularity, we raise funds by putting on events, selling merchandise, working with philanthropists, and attracting corporate sponsorships, enabling us to make grants to charities the world over to reflect Tom’s broad fanbase,” the trust’s website says. “From Thailand to Detroit and many places in-between, via the charities we support, TBT makes a real difference to a great many people’s lives.”

The trust previously raised funds through campaigns and events. It has also supported smaller charities.
Last year, Holland visited the Campus School at Boston College after The Brother’s Trust donated $25,000 to the school. The money went to fund assistive technology and a ceiling lift to aid physical therapy exercises at the school. The actor engaged with the students for several hours during his visit.
“The way he engaged with them was really quite beautiful,” said Jennifer Miller, marketing manager for the Campus School. “He was just so natural and so caring.”
Holland is currently filming SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY in England and starring in LEGO’s Never Stop Playing campaign. He says he’s “blessed” to have his career and wants to give back.
On Friday, Holland suffered a concussion on the BRAND NEW DAY set while filming at Pinewood Studios in the U.K. The actor was admitted to the hospital and will return to filming soon, per Deadline.
The injury happened when Holland performed a stunt that went wrong. The production team was scheduled to hold a meeting Monday to adjust filming plans.
Despite Holland’s concussion, on Saturday, Holland and his fiancée, Zendaya, hosted an event for The Brothers Trust, Cosmopolitan reported. It was the third annual Pub Quiz event, in which Holland led the pub-inspired quiz.
“We hugged, we chatted, we sang & we tried (and lost) the pub quiz. But we got autographed spoons so I think we really won!” said attendee and Java Joy co-founder Laura Whittiker, who added she “chatted with Tom, his family and met Zendaya.”
Holland’s next movie, SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY, comes out July 31, 2026.
