Trans BARBIE Actor Calls Movie ‘Candy with a Little Poison’

“Barbernhiemer” is all the rage as July 21, 2023 quickly approaches.
The date will provide moviegoers with a unique opportunity to see two highly-anticipated movies in one go: Greta Gerwig’s BARBIE and Christopher Nolan’s OPPENHEIMER.
According to AMC theaters, over 20,000 people purchased tickets to see both movies back-to-back.
However, early screenings of BARBIE, based on Mattel’s iconic doll, revealed that the movie has a strong pro-feminist slant, with a character played by a trans actor, Hari Nef, a man who identifies as a woman.
Discerning viewers should note that the early screenings of BARBIE revealed that the movie is not what it advertised itself to be in trailers and early press—a live-action movie about dolls for young girls and adults who grew up with the toy.
Instead, there is a clear agenda which shows that studios continue to neglect the safety of young children and disregard the biggest audience in cinema, families.

“They had a built-in market and audience for this franchise that they completely ignored,” said a Movieguide® staff member. “Millions of families would have turned out to the theaters and purchased tickets, but instead, Mattel chose to cater to a small percentage of the population who has proven over and over to abandon the box office. Movieguide®’s 40 years of research indicate this just isn’t true, and Mattel has made a grievous mistake.”
In a recent interview with Out, Nef confirmed that the movie is an exploration of femininity and sexualization, with a clear, gross agenda in mind to push sexuality onto children.
“It’s candy with a little poison, and that’s what I like,” Nef told the outlet of BARBIE.
“As much as there’s a celebration of femininity and being a girl in this [movie], I think there’s also an encouragement of letting go of the checklist we ascribe to living and living your life and being in your body your way, on your own terms,” Nef added.
Other issues in the movie include:
- Little girls smack their baby dolls in the movie and say, “Girls don’t have to be mothers anymore.”
- Another Attack on the “Patriarchy”: Barbieville is good because they removed the men, and the women are now in charge, and, if you remove the men, you get rid of problems.

Whether a biblical worldview is important to you or not, it’s safe to say that most discerning parents don’t want poison mixed in with their children’s candy, let alone their entertainment.
