Recently merged Great American Family and Pure Flix gave a sneak peek at some of the projects arriving on their streaming platform in 2024.

“We look back on 2023 with gratitude and we look ahead to 2024 with so much excitement for what’s to come: More stories of faith and family! Thank you for letting us be part of your homes 💙” Great American Pure Flix posted on Instagram along with snippets of upcoming projects.

Projects announced in the post include season 2 of GOING HOME, THE ENGAGEMENT PLAN, FALL INTO WINTER and the network’s first original series COUNTRY RESCUE.

The network also revealed a lineup of holiday movies and musicals – A ROYAL DATE FOR CHRISTMAS, HARMONY FROM THE HEART and BRINGING CHRISTMAS HOME – which will help carry the network to a record number of original movies produced in 2024.

“We are continuing to build on the phenomenal growth of our media brand and are excited to now fully capitalize on the synergies now available with Sony and Great American Pure Flix. Our portfolio is a trusted source of family friendly and faith-based entertainment, and our 2023 results greatly exceeded our expectations,” said Bill Abbott, president and CEO of Great American Media.

“We are looking forward to having a positive impact on viewers and the entertainment business by creating quality content that can be enjoyed by the entire family,” he added.

Great American Family also revealed that it has a slew of mystery whodunnits releasing in the first quarter of this year that will star numerous fan-favorite celebrities from the network.

The company hopes to continue building on its phenomenal 2023 when it released 21 original movies and more than doubled its viewers to become TV’s fastest-growing network.

Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott is looking ahead to 2024 and sharing his thoughts on what’s made the network so successful.

“I think consistency wins, and we’re in a lane that is certainly underserved,” he said.

In the last year, the company has seen a 136% increase in viewers.

“When you’re able to be consistent in an area that has a need, you have the ability to be very successful,” Abbott explained. “I think so much of entertainment is filling voids in the market, and I think that’s been the biggest piece of our success.”

The CEO shared what he expects 2024 will hold for the entertainment industry as a whole.

“I think we’re going to see bundling become a big piece of how the streaming model becomes profitable, along with more consolidation. I think streaming is very challenged in terms of churn and other dynamics that exist that make it very hard to be profitable,” he shared.
