More Detail:

:  In this second episode of MEDAL OF HONOR, audiences are transported to the mountainous battlefield of Afghanistan. There, at Combat Outpost Keating in 2009, Staff Sergeant Clint Romesha earned his Medal of Honor. He and his team at COP Keating were ambushed by more than 300 Taliban soldiers. Despite being wounded, Romesha lead the counterattack and is largely credited with saving COP Keating from being overrun entirely. Romesha was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2013 by President Barack Obama. Later, Romesha would go on to write a book about his experiences, RED PLATOON.

MEDAL OF HONOR continues to be a source of inspiring and moving stories. This episode is nicely contrasted with the first, preparing audiences for a diverse series of stories from a broad range of time periods. The dramatization of the attack on COP Keating is especially compelling. A proud, patriotic worldview underscores the whole series, and this episode dives deep into the brotherly love between soldiers. This episode contains some “f” words and extended scenes of realistic warfare, so extreme caution is advised.
