More Detail:
This episode of MEDAL OF HONOR highlights the proud American tradition of the citizen-solider. Ben Schwartz’s performance as Bertoldo is subtle and striking, perhaps the best performance. The interviews are moving, showing Bertoldo’s family and their pride in him. Some mild foul language concerns, and the typical portrayals of warfare making the episode unsuitable for young viewers. Strong moral worldview which drives home Bertoldo’s willingness to serve and even give his life for his country. Duty and bravery are important themes, and this episode is especially inspiring.
