LITTLE WOMEN is based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott and centers around the March sisters (and their mother) as they deal with life during the Civil War. Each of the four sisters is determined to live life on her terms. This film offers a very strong Christian worldview with no foul language or violence. It’s a tale of sisterhood and God’s grace. There is a slight feminist bent to it, but nothing overtly political. Part drama and part romance, LITTLE WOMEN is a captivating movie for the 10+ crowd.

OVER THE MOON IN LOVE
OVER THE MOON IN LOVE is a light-hearted Hallmark movie. It tells the story of a matchmaker, Brooklyn Moore, whose business is on the verge of failing. A magazine writer blackmails her to set her up with her childhood friend, Devin. The only problem is Devin has feelings for Brooklyn. The film contains a strong moral worldview and is a sweet romance with no questionable content. OVER THE MOON INN LOVE is the perfect film to watch while curled up in front of the fireplace.

THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX
THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX is the film adaptation of the children’s book by Roald Dahl. The story is about a sly fox who falls back on his promise to his wife to stop stealing food from the local farmers. When the farmers figure out what Mr. Fox is up to, he must save his family and community from certain death. The movie has a strong moral worldview but contains mild violence and light language. Despite these issues, THE FANTASTIC MR.FOX is a fun movie with autumn vibes for kids 7 and up.

GOD’S COUNTRY SONG is an inspiring film about a rising country singer who struggles with alcohol. His past catches up with him in the form of an old relationship and pulls him from his goal of becoming the next big country star in Nashville. When he discovers he has a young son, he learns the power of redemption through Jesus. It features a strong Christian worldview but contains light violence and adult themes. A big box bookstore owner and an independent bookstore owner have an online flirtation, both oblivious that he’s trying to shut down her business.
