Obama’s Democrat Hollywood Fundraiser Snarls L.A. Traffic for Hours

Date: Thursday, August 19, 2010

Traffic was at a standstill during rush hour Monday night and Tuesday morning on the west side of Los Angeles so that President Obama could attend a fancy fundraiser with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Hollywood bigwigs at producer John Wells’ (ER and THE WEST WING) not-so-humble abode in Hancock Park.

Local talk show hosts John and Ken berated the President and his staff, including the secret service, for not caring about the folks who had to sit through the stalled traffic for hours.

“President Obama owes Los Angeles a big apology,” wrote Hunter Walker for the blog TV Hunter on The Wrap website.

Apparently, DreamWorks founders Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg didn’t go to the fundraiser, although they did buy a plate at the dinner.
