More Detail:

Set in Hollywood, I’LL DO ANYTHING is a many-faceted romantic comedy that tells the story of different relationships but links them together with out-of-work actor, Matt, and his six-and-a-half-year-old-daughter, Jeannie. Nick Nolte plays Matt, a gifted character actor who can’t find work in Hollywood. Unexpectedly, his divorced wife (Tracey Ullman) calls him long distance to tell him he has to take care of Jeannie. Matt hasn’t seen Jeannie in two years, and he discovers that his daughter is petulant, precocious and, above all, extremely difficult to manage. Matt finds a Spanish woman with children to take care of Jeannie while he works temporarily driving a car for a Hollywood producer. The producer’s assistant, Cathy, tries to get him a part in a movie, but doesn’t succeed. In the process, she lures him to her apartment and seduces him. The producer, Burt, is self-absorbed and is having an affair with his researcher, an honest and truthful woman who tells him off in public.

The movie contains some rather humorous scenes, mainly revolving around Jeannie’s antics, too much of it is based on sexual antics and innuendo making. Also, the script is poorly written and the acting, except for Nolte’s, is mediocre. Even little Whittni Wright who plays Jeannie, can’t save this haphazard, poor excuse for a film.
