PROBLEM CHILD 2

What You Need To Know:

In the second installment of the problematic PROBLEM CHILD saga, Ben Healy and his adopted 9-year-old son, Junior, have abandoned Mrs. Healy for a new life in Mortville. Living in the "divorce capital of the world," Ben is a prime target for sex-starved females. Junior resents this and attempts to sabotage his Dad's social life. Collaborating Junior with is Trixie, the school nurse's problem child. They team up to match-make their parents when Lawanda Dumore, the richest divorcee in town, sets her sights on Ben.

Although PROBLEM CHILD 2 is not as mean-spirited as the original, the movie is in flagrantly bad taste. Junior "passes gas" while talking to the school principal, and he and Trixie make obscene gestures to adults who bother them. Junior even videotapes his baby-sitter fornicating with her boyfriend and projects the video on the front of the house, so the neighbors can watch the action. Junior also smirks as a neighbor drinks some "lemonade" in which he has urinated. Giving the audience their yuck-yuck fill, Junior nauseously manipulates an amusement park ride so that passengers end up vomiting over themselves and onlookers. PROBLEM CHILD 2 is a juvenile attempt at comedy that insults the intelligence of every movie goer

More Detail:

In the second installment of the problematic PROBLEM CHILD saga, Ben Healy and his adopted 9-year-old son, Junior, have abandoned Mrs. Healy for a new life in Mortville.

Living in the “divorce capital of the world,” Ben is a prime target for sex-starved females. Junior resents this and attempts to sabotage his Dad’s social life. Collaborating with Junior is Trixie, the school nurse’s problem child. They team up to match-make their parents when Lawanda Dumore, the richest divorcee in town, sets her sights on Ben.

Although PROBLEM CHILD 2 is not as mean-spirited as the original, the movie is in flagrantly bad taste. Showing disrespect for authority, Junior “passes gas” while talking to the school principal, and he and Trixie make obscene gestures to adults who bother them. In another scene, Junior videotapes his baby-sitter fornicating with her boyfriend and projects the video on the front of the house, as neighbors set up lawn chairs to watch the action.

Junior also smirks as a neighbor drinks some “lemonade” in which he has urinated. Giving the audience their yuck-yuck fill, Junior nauseously manipulates an amusement park ride so that passengers end up vomiting over themselves and onlookers.

As you probably already guessed, PROBLEM CHILD 2 is a juvenile attempt at comedy that insults the intelligence of every movie goer.
