With no foul language, minor action violence, no sexual activity, and no nudity, REDEMPTION OF THE GHOST is a surprising movie because it captivates and holds the audience’s attention and seems just as relevant as those contemporary movies that rely on sex, violence and foul language. Credit needs to be given to the director and the writer. This is not a soft mushy film, but a well-crafted movie that should do well if it’s released properly.

The delightful family movie, REDEMPTION OF THE GHOST, is clearly about redemption, but not about ghosts. The exciting opening introduces us to an older but incredibly strong escaped convict who hides out in a barn belonging to two young children who lost their sheriff father in the line of duty. The little girl talks to a ghost named Dan, and the escaped prisoner decides to become the mythical ghost.
It turns out that the convict was an embezzler and is not a violent man. From the two children, he learns what is important about life. These children have a deep-set goodness. They pray and talk about God.
Eventually, the convict decides to do the right thing, but the legalistic sheriff is hot on his tale, and he may not be able to redress the wrongs he has committed.
