FRENCH TWIST is a French film with English subtitles. It is a very strong call for disgruntled housewives to dump their husbands for lesbian relationships. The movie starts by showing a young French couple. Laurent is a philandering real estate worker. His pretty wife, Loli loves him, but he is cold to her. One night, Laurent has sex with a client, and Loli stays at home entertaining a lesbian named Marijo. Marijo falls for Loli and when Laurent returns home, he becomes extremely upset. Laurent tells Marijo to never come back and kicks Loli out of the house. As a result the women consummate their deviant sexual relationship. Saddened, Laurent decides to swear off “flings” and attempts to reunite with Loli. Loli, still in lust with Marijo, works out an arrangement where all three live together. Through more twists and turns, other factors come into play including a baby and a gay man which ultimately makes this FRENCH TWIST come full circle.
This movie gives a step-by-step outline on how to live as a “threesome.” It will probably be championed by the lesbian and gay movement. It includes great amounts of sex, nudity and foul language as it shows a spurned wife, dumping her husband for another woman. This is one import we didn’t need from France.
