THE TRIGGER EFFECT

Watch:

What You Need To Know:

In the TRIGGER EFFECT, a low budget dud of a movie that has no story or plot, the power goes out and people start getting desperate. With no power, three friends decide to leave on a road trip to a family-owned cabin. As they leave the city, they stop to help a stranger named Joe who steals their car. The movie had nothing but droll, pointless monotonous drama. Without any focus or culmination of dramatic events, THE TRIGGER EFFECT misfires.

More Detail:

In the TRIGGER EFFECT, a low budget dud of a movie that has no story or plot, the power goes out and people start getting desperate. This depressing and boring movie without a heart features a woman named Anna married to Matt, a skittish but caring man. Together, they have a feverish baby and a young, handsome family friend named Gary. One Friday, the power goes out leaving the city in darkness. After a burglar breaks into their house and a neighbor shoots the criminal, Matt, Anna and Gary decide to go to a family-owned cabin. As they leave the city, they stop to help a stranger named Joe. Joe shoots Gary and steals their car. The remainder of the movie involves Matt walking back to town for help, as Anna cares for the dying Gary.

All along this meaningless plot, situations for exploration are raised but never are never examined. Is it about a troubled marriage, a murder cover up, gun control, or what? This movie suggests many points of interest, but always leaves intrigue on the roadside. This movie would also be better if it had something to spice it up. It had nothing but droll, pointless monotonous drama that had no intrigue, plot or story. Without any focus or culmination of dramatic events, THE TRIGGER EFFECT misfires.
