Everything has gone wrong for Paul Blart since he saved the mall. He married a woman who left him after six days, his mother died, and now it seems his career is at an end. Things take a turn for the better when he’s invited to the Security Officer’s Conference in Las Vegas. At the same time, Blart’s daughter Mia is admitted to UCLA. She doesn’t tell her father because she wants to support his chance to recover his career.

When Blart and his daughter arrive in Las Vegas, there are hints that Blart is the conference’s keynote speaker, but he’s embarrassed when he finds out he’s not. Disappointments continue, blunders continue, mishaps continue – all with hilarious effect. Blart is a wonderful comic character in the vein of W.C. Fields, Red Skelton and Jackie Gleason.

Just when it looks that Blart has made every mistake, the keynote speaker gets drunk and is asked to Blart give the keynote. At the same time, Mia discovers that the villain is robbing the Wynn Hotel. She tries to get in touch with her father while he’s speaking, but to no avail. After his excellent, heart-warming talk, Blart finds out Mia has been kidnapped, and Paul Blart goes into action.

However, this is the same bumbling comical character who’s now on a mission to save his daughter from some very sophisticated thieves and their intimidating thugs. So, can he save the day in spite of himself?
