HERO DOG AWARDS

"Honoring Man’s Best Animal Friends"

What You Need To Know:

The HERO DOG AWARDS program honors dogs and people who work in the veterinary world for all they do to help others. The program flips between honoring the dogs and the humans in the field. As each dog’s story is presented, their human companion provides the animal’s backstory. Each story starts with a situation that’s sad and seemingly hopeless, but in the end turns into something greater than the human companions could have imagined. Throughout the program, they included segments that just focused on pet adoption.

The HERO DOG AWARDS featured many inspirational stories of dogs and how they are constantly changing the lives of the people around them. The show was interesting as each dog and human had a different story and background, but they are all intertwined because of the good they are doing. The HERO DOG AWARDS is a worthwhile program for the whole family. The HERO DOG AWARDS has a very strong moral worldview with a focus on thankfulness and loving animals. It also has some light Christian elements where some honorees thanked God in their acceptance speeches.

The HERO DOG AWARDS is hosted by Beth Stern and James Denton. The program honors dogs for the different services they provide to others, while also honoring people who work in the veterinarian world.

The awards show flips between honoring the dogs and the humans who work in the field. As each dog’s story is presented, their human companion provides the animal’s backstory in a video. Each story starts with a situation that’s sad and seemingly hopeless, but in the end turns into something greater than the human companions could have imagined.

One inspiring story was about a dog named Jeanie, who is a therapy dog. Jeanie was a rescue dog that had to have one of her legs removed. She was adopted by her owner who quickly noticed that her dog was special. The dog always knew how to deal with different moods and how to make others feel better. Jeanie was then tested and became a registered therapy dog.

Jeanie’s owner started to take her to veteran’s homes and transitions classes, so she was able to help others. Jeanie was so able to connect with others because she also had a flaw these people could see that helped them. Jeanie was also used by her owner as a therapy dog when she went through a tough medical procedure.

At the end of the show, they gave out the biggest award of the night, the Hero Dog Award. This award combined all the dogs that were honored with their individual awards to see what dog was the Hero of the Year.
