Katie Bates of BRINGING UP BATES is officially off the market as she began courting Travis Clark.

The 19-year-old couple first met in June 2019 through mutual friends, according to Us Weekly. Bates mentioned their flirtation in an upcoming episode of the show.

Since then, the couple has kept their relationship going through FaceTime dates and chaperoned trips each month to see one another.

Us Weekly reports, “After months of traveling and getting to know each other, the teenagers are thrilled to ‘officially become boyfriend and girlfriend.’”

“Travis and his family are active in their local church and also travel together to sing, so our families have been able to visit at nearby concerts and church events,” Bates said.

She continued,

“Travis and I are so thankful that the Lord, not only allowed our paths to cross, but that we have been able to begin this new phase of our journey together. Travis made the evening [he asked to court me] so special, and right now, I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet!”

Bates is the 11th child of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates out of 19 children.

All-new episodes of BRINGING UP BATES air at 9 p.m. on UPtv where viewers can learn more about Clark and Bates’ blooming relationship.
