LES MISÉRABLES is a movie version of the beloved musical play of Victor Hugo’s novel about an ex-convict whose life is redeemed but is hounded anyway by a legalistic policeman. LES MISÉRABLES is a brilliant adaptation of this inspiring, spiritually uplifting Christian story that beautifully depicts God’s transformational powers though the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but it contains some harsh scenes showing the brokenness of humanity without God.

JOHNNY ENGLISH is a delightfully silly summer comedy starring Rowan Atkinson, Mr. Bean, in the title role, as a bumbling spy clerk who gets the chance to be England’s number one secret agent when the Crown Jewels are stolen. Fans of James Bond, Inspector Clouseau, and Maxwell Smart, and those who would like a cleaner AUSTIN POWERS movie, may love this genial spoof, which, however, contains a few obscenities, brief toilet humor, and other light objectionable content.

THE PEANUTS MOVIE is a wonderful animated movie based on the beloved comic strip created by Charles Schulz, wherein Charlie Brown falls for the new girl in town and tries to make a good first impression, despite his poor reputation. THE PEANUTS MOVIE is a lovable, funny, entertaining animated movie for all ages that teaches positive lessons of compassion, honesty, and selflessness, with only some slapstick and minor perilous scenes that might scary sensitive, very young children.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP - 8/14/2020

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is a highly entertaining sequel. It has a driving plot, lots of great laughs, exciting action, and heartwarming themes about parents and children, but it’s marred by excessive foul language, which undermine the movie’s strong family-friendly features.

CATS AND DOGS - 8/1/2020

Quality:
**
Content:
-1 Caution advised for older children, including teenagers, and sensitive adults.
CATS AND DOGS is a pitch looking for a story where talking, sentient dogs try to protect humans from a bunch of talking cats led by the evil Mr. Tinkles. CATS AND DOGS suffers from predictable plot points, tired cliches, no character development, and over-the-top acting. Its violence and toilet humor is unacceptable for children ages 3 to 12.
