How BACHELOR Star Colton Underwood Is Supporting This Christian Organization

By Tess Farrand, Associate Content Editor

BACHELOR star Colton Underwood will support Christian organization World Vision’s efforts for COVID-19 relief with a Q&A Chat4Good event.

General admission tickets are now on sale for the online question-and-answer session, which will be broadcast on Tuesday, August 11, at 6 p.m. PT.

According to US Weekly, fans can submit questions about a variety of topics, including Underwood’s battle with coronavirus and ongoing recovery, his reality TV experience, his relationship with Cassie Randolph and his plans for the rest of 2020.

Virtual VIP one-on-one video chats with Colton are also available on Chat4Good’s website.

Other Christian celebs including Melissa Joan Hart and Patricia Heaton have supported World Vision’s humanitarian work over the years.

Underwood dabbles in philanthropic work, but this is one of the few causes that’s distinctly Christian.

Underwood, 28, has shared his faith beliefs on social media before.

“The cool thing about my relationship with God is that I believe he uses situations and other people to communicate and work through us,” Underwood said. “One thing I’m working on is thanking him during my good days just as much as I ask for his help on the days that I struggle.”

Underwood was also one of the first celebrities to go public with contracting COVID-19.

He told TODAY that getting the highly contagious virus gave him an opportunity to press into his faith.

“I think in times like this you have to really lean into something, and for me it’s my faith,” Underwood told TODAY. “We have a lot more free time on our hands than normal and for me I always made the excuse of maybe not going to church on Sunday or not doing my daily readings, as though I’m too busy. And I think this has sort of provided some insight and opportunity for me to really just grow even more in my faith and my walk with God.”
