GoDaddy Halts Service to Texas Right to Life’s Abortion-Tracking Website

After Texas’ recently announced abortion law, which bans abortions in the state after a heartbeat, the web-hosting service GoDaddy dropped their hosting services for an abortion-tracking website created by Texas Right to Life.
The company announced that the site, called prolifewhistleblower.com, violated “multiple provisions” of its terms of service and told the site to find a new provider within 24 hours.
“Last night we informed prolifewhistleblower.com they have violated GoDaddy’s terms of service and have 24 hours to move to a different provider,” the company noted.
Texas Right to Life responded to GoDaddy’s decision via Twitter.
“@GoDaddy wants to cancel our website, ProLifeWhistleblower.com. Too bad for the mob: We will not be silenced. Anti-Lifers hate us because we’re winning. We’re transferring our assets to another provider and will have the site restored within 24-48 hours. Come back soon,” the tweet read.

The site allows users to submit anonymous tips about illegal abortions to Texas Right to Life.
The Verge reported:
On Saturday, the site appeared to have migrated to BitMitigate, a webhost owned by Epik itself, and one that specifically advertises its “sovereign hosting” services for platforms under attack. Yet by Saturday evening, the site was not loading for us at all, throwing an “accessed a banned URL” error. Epik says it informed Texas Right to Life that hosting the anonymous tip form was against its terms of service, general counsel Daniel Prince told The Verge.
By Sunday, the battle appeared to be over: prolifewhistleblower.com now redirects to Texas Right to Life’s primary website, instead of a form that allows citizens to inform on their neighbors. Epik takes credit for this, saying it “persuaded them to stop collecting anonymous tips and to take it off the internet entirely.” We’re checking that with Texas Right to Life now.
Seth Dillon, who has experienced suspensions of his company Babylon Bee from Facebook in the past, showed his support for Texas Right to Life.
